Week 14

Congrats! You have made it to the second trimester!

Here’s what has changed this week:

• Starting to suck their thumb in the womb
• Still very active and some moms may feel movement around this time

If you have a family history of birth defects, you may want to consider an amniocentesis at this time.  Call your Mommy Mentor if you have any questions.

Dark spots may start to appear around your eyes, nose, cheeks, and nipples. These are due to pregnancy hormones and should decrease after birth.
